Kessben stretch lead at the top

 Kessben FC extended their lead at the top of the league table following a 2-1 win over AshantiGold who began the day in second place. Kessben took the lead after two minutes through Ali Baba's powerful shot from outside the box. Fred Quayson levelled for AshantiGold against the run of play on 10 minutes but Edmund Owusu Peprah secured the three maximum points for Kessben in the 56th minute.

 Hearts of Oak suffered their third defeat of the season going down 1-0 at Aduana Stars. Emmanuel Allan scored from the spot in 70th minute.

Berekum Arsenals moved to second place following a 0-1 away win over Eleven Wise at the Essipong Stadium. Salou Yakubu got the match winner in the second half from a penalty kick.

Liberty Professionals were shocked by Great Olympics in a 1-0 reverse at the Ohene Djan Stadium through Emmanuel Lartey in the 65th minute.

New Edubiase United dispatched Hasaacas 2-0 at the Len Clay Stadium. Chelsea of Bechem beat King Faisal 1-0 at the Sunyani Coronation Park.

All Stars drew goalless with Heart of Lions at the Wa Park.
